-I-

English:

-I-

My Indian dream is flying over the space. Full moon, black night for dreaming, near the hill.

Water is running down your cheek in silence. A fresh
spring, murmuring - or some memory... I do not know.

I collect it to soothe my burn. The motion is slowing
down. I put my hand on the top of your head.
You keep silent. A dark dance with
the night. Your body catches its breath.

So many silent words will we have drunk for all those
years. Far from now, our carnal rendezvous were arranged casually, at the foot of the hill.

Tomorrow we will go down. As we usually do. In the morning the plain will be dimly lit by a star we now well know.

-II-

In the meantime, at night, a man alone in some European capital is proofreading the manuscripts of his novel-to-come; this auto fiction for which he fears the strength of the waves so much.

He trims every single word, polishes every sentence, being
careful about punctuation with surgical precision. As though this could change something...

He is getting tired and tired night after night. He stands up, goes past his desk and opens a wide window, smokes without feeling. The air is freezing.

Down his house there's no more square; instead lies a dim, vast plain lit by a star he doesn't know.
Water is running down his cheek in silence.
